The 3M Conference is a name given to a gathering of Chinese Christian professionals, between the ages of 25-35 years old who want to integrate their faith in Jesus Christ into their vocations in the marketplace, their ministries both inside and outside the church, and their marriages to achieve a shared vision. This upcoming 3M conference, to be held in San Diego, is the fifth and last conference to be held in the past 8 1/2 years.

The stress of this year's conference is to talk about the purpose of life after conversion, namely, to prepare for eternity. We would call this gaining an eternal perspective in life, and we would hope to integrate this perspective in our vocations, our ministries, and our marriages. Primarily designed for single people, it is hoped that people with a common focus on using their time on earth for "soul formation" and participating in God's program of evangelism and discipleship, would meet each other and form networks in their respective cities. Already such networks have formed naturally from previous conferences.

Layman's Foundation has organized conferences at this resort before, and participants have found the beds incredibly comfortable, the rooms clean and spacious, the food excellent. The main attraction of the resort is golf, tennis and the gambling casino located 6 miles up the road. Our 4 day and 3 night conference will involve densely packed messages, group interaction time, and lots of time to mingle and network informally. The campus of the Sycuan resort will represent the most comfortable venue of any 3M conference we have held to date.
